Abstract

We present an eight-year-old patient, followed up since birth because of unilateral ptosis of unknown etiology, who was diagnosed with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) following epileptic seizures. Earlier recognition of the palpebral angiofibroma with associated ptosis could have accelerated this diagnosis. The extensive phenotypic variability makes TSC a challenging diagnosis.
